Lemon Pickles

Salam to all,

here is a quick recipe for lemon pickles,

1. Wash the lemons and cut off both tops. i used 6 large lemons.


2. Cut in half lengthwise and slice
3. Sprinkle 1 tbsp salt on lemon and add 1/4 cup vinegar.
4. Add as much red pepper sauce as u would like. I put about 1/2 - 2/3 a cup. If you prefer more spicy u can add more..
This is the brand of pepper I use. The chili garlic sauce found in the Asian aisle at target or at any Asian or middle eastern grocery.
5. Add some chopped. Jalepenos for extra flavor and spiciness. I put about 2-3 jalepenos.6. Stir well and let sit for 30 mins. Then cover with olive oil and place in an airtight jar or container.. enjoy after 2 days!!!

  4. You can eat them as is like pickles, or you can use them for garnishing plates. Yummy!
