Strawberry dessert

Salam,

This is a very easy peasy dessert that u can put together in no time.. Simple, sweet and very delicious..

Ingredients::

2 lb strawberries (preferably sweet and red) lol
One baked cake
chocolate syrup (like Hershey's)
Cool whip (1-2 containers depending on how much u use)
Pretty glass dish/es to serve with

Directions:

1. Chop strawberries to small pieces (sprinkle sugar and let sit if not sweet enough)

2. Cut the cake into small cubes

3. Pour the strawberries in the bottom of the cup,

 then the cake pieces

 drizzle chocolate syrup,

 then top with the cool whip.. And voila ur done!


 
U can put the layers in any order u want, as long as the whip cream stays on top lol...

Another variation for the whipped cream is to mix one can of puck cream (قشطة) with 1.5 cups of milk and as much as it needs in dry whipped cream powder..

 Wish I had a box on hand to show u.. But it's in the pudding aisle.. Once I get a box I'll explain it better..

This version tastes more like ice cream,

 but needs around 2 hours refrigeration before eating...

if u wanna use a larger bowl with 2 layers:

slice the strawberries in half, sprinkle sugar to help them stick to the side of the bowl.. add the cut up cake in the middle, then add chocolate syrup and top with cool whip.. (in this one i used french vanilla cool whip) then repeat again to acheive the look in the pic. mine was sloppy but it was my first time.. and we were in a hurry to eat it up as always.. scoop up and serve!
